Solo Garth Brooks aveva ricevuto il premio nella kermesse
NASHVILLE - Taylor Swift, Bob Shelton e Miranda Lambert sono stati i trionfatori in parte annunciati dei Country Music Awards 2013.
Durante la kermesse musicale organizzata come da tradizione nella patria dei cowboy, Nashville, sono state premiate le eccellenze della musica country mondiale.
Taylor Swift ha ricevuto la più alta onorificenza della serata, infatti secondo l’Associated Press e ABC News, l’artista di Red è stata la seconda destinataria mai esistita del premio CMA Pinnacle, un riconoscimento che viene conferito solo agli artisti che si sono distinti in modo particolare per il successo ottenuto con la loro musica country. L’unico altro artista a ricevere il CMA Pinnacle prima della Swift è stato il cantante statunitense Garth Brooks, che è stato insignito nel 2005.
Bob Shelton ha trionfato nelle categorie Male Vocalist of the year e Album of the Year, mentre Miranda Lambert è risultata Female Vocalist of the year.
