(KIKA) - LONDRA - Si presenta una serata entusiasmante quella del 14 febbraio prossimo per i film Il ponte delle spie e Carol, che hanno ottenuto ben nove nomination ciascuno ai Bafta Awards.
Il film con protagonista Tom Hanks, largamente snobbato nella stagione dei premi appena aperta, è stata la vera sorpresa della cerimonia delle nomination, annunciate questa mattina a Londra.
Il ponte delle spie è stato nominato nelle categorie miglior film, miglior attore non protagonista (Mark Ryley), miglior regista (Steven Spielberg), miglior sceneggiatura originale (Matt Charman e Joel e Ethan Coen), più numerose nomination più tecniche.
Carol ha ottenuto quella per miglior film, Cate Blanchett miglior attrice protagonista, Rooney Mara nel ruolo della non protagonista, miglior regista Todd Haynes, miglior adattamento cinematografico per Phyllis Nagy.
Gli altri candidati a miglior film sono stati The Revenant di Leonardo Di Caprio, con otto nomination, La grande scommessa e Spotlight.
La lotta tra gli attori protagonisti sarà combattuta tra Eddie Redmayne (The Danish Girl), Leonardo DiCaprio (The Rrevenant), Bryan Cranston (Trumbo), Matt Damon (The Martian) and Michael Fassbender (Steve Jobs), mentre tra le donne si sfideranno Cate Blanchett (Carol), Brie Larson (Room), Saoirse Ronan (Brooklyn), Maggie Smith (The Lady in the Van) e Alicia Vikander (The Danish Girl).
